#BookReview Good Girl by Mel Sharratt (DS Grace Allendale Book 4) @writermels @AvonBooksUK

I am super excited to share my first review of 2021 for Good Girl by Mel Sherratt

Erin was a good girl. But someone wanted her dead…

When sixteen-year-old Erin Ellis is attacked, she dies in the arms of her best friend Molly, just metres from her home. Molly is the surviving girl but says she easily could have been the victim – it was a random mugging gone wrong.

With inconclusive evidence, DS Grace Allendale must dig deep within the tight-knit Stoke community for leads. And she soon finds that someone had a motive to kill Erin.

As the investigation unfolds, Grace is reminded of a horrifying case she worked on earlier in her career.

Is the past coming back to haunt her? And can she push through her fear to catch Erin’s killer before it’s too late?

My Thoughts

OMG this book this series….I absolutely love it. Mel has done it once again and pulls out all punches bringing us another gritty police procedural story LOVE LOVE LOVED it! Good Girl is freaking awesome.

Even though it is the 4th book in the series, it can easily be read has a standalone. I was hooked from the very first page and devoured it in no time at all. This book is so addictive and such a simple story……

We are taken on a rollercoaster ride When Erin dies in the arms of her best friend Molly. DS Grace Allendale has to dig deep to find out the truth. With Molly being her only witness what actually happened?

The story builds up when we learn what happened before the incident leading up to the night’s unfortunate event. With plenty of twists and turns and OMG moments .The more I read, the more I wanted to know. This is a fast paced read keeping you on the edge of your seat.

I love all of Mel’s books; she certainly knows how to keep you guessing. This book is full of tension, suspense and emotion. My heart went out to Molly.

Good Girl It has blown my mind! Such a bloody good read and easily one of the best books that I have read in 2020.
