I am delighted to share my review for The Single Best Thing that is out today
Almost four years have passed since Melv followed Eve back to England refusing to throw away their long awaited chance of lasting love and happiness. Much has happened in that time. No longer a tour manager for Travel Together, Eve is enjoying unexpected success in her new career. Has she forgiven him for hurting her so deeply? Was her love for him simply enough? And what about her own dark secret?
Provoking smiles and tears this glimpse into Eve’s future brings the Singles’ Series to its final conclusion
The Single best thing is book six in the series and I am sad to say it is the final one too! I love this series and I am gutted it has come to an end. But for those of you who have followed Eve and her journey will love this book. This can be read as a standalone but I would advise reading the series to get an understanding of the relationship between Eve and Malv first started.
In this story we catch up with Eve and follow different timelines alternating between the past and present learning how she got to where she is now. I loved Eve’s new career and how the journey she went on to get there. Which I could totally relate to and was blown away by a lovely surprise which I so, wasn’t expecting.
Like the rest of the books in this series they are full of humour and happiness. Then the story takes a shocking turn which left me wanting to know more. And added emotion to the story. Has always this is a delightful quirky read with a mixture of characters. Some you will love and some you hate.
I love how Elaine always captures the setting making me want to visit these places that the books are set.
I devoured this book in one sitting. It is a heart warming read which I highly recommend. I am looking forward to what Elaine has in store for us next now this series has ended.
Massive thank you Elaine for the surprise and to Rachel Gilby for inviting me to take part on this blog blitz.
