Have You Seen Her by Lisa Hall #AudioReview @LisaHallAuthor @HQstories

Bonfire Night. A missing girl.

Anna only takes her eyes off Laurel for a second. She thought Laurel was following her mum through the crowds. But in a heartbeat, Laurel is gone.

Laurel’s parents are frantic. As is Anna, their nanny. But as the hours pass, and Laurel isn’t found, suspicion grows.

Someone knows what happened to Laurel. And they’re not telling.

Have You Seen Her is the breath-taking new thriller with a killer twist from bestseller Lisa Hall.

My Thoughts

Hanging my head in shame I have to admit that this is the first book that I read by Lisa Hall which although I have a copy I actually listened to this audio and what an audio it is! Bloody loved it! You can feel the panic and tension throughout the story with the narrator making it so real.

When we meet Laurel’s nanny Anna who is at a bonfire with her who goes missing after taking her eyes off her for a second. Those of us who have children know the panic that this causes, but the clock is ticking and there is still no sign of her. And it soon becomes clean that someone knows what has happened and are not telling.

Has the story unfolds secrets start to surface and the author takes you on a well and twisty ride which will keep you guessing until the very end.

Oh my days what an utterly gripping story this story will have you racing to the end. Making you question all the characters in the story. I have to say that I wasn’t a fan of Lauren’s parents there are moments when I just wanted to shake them. But this makes it good reading…..

Lisa Hall is without a doubt an author that I will be reading more of, leaving me wondering why the hell I haven’t read her books before!
