Scream Blue Murder by Tony J Forder #AudioReview @TonyJForder @Bloodhoundbook

Mike Lynch is going through hard times. But things get much worse when he witnesses a murder in a lay-by. Snatching the victim’s car in order to get away, Mike soon makes a shocking discovery – the victim’s young daughter and her nanny are hiding in the rear footwell. This is when the real trouble begins.

Mike wants to go to the police, but the nanny, Melissa, wants to delay until the daughter, Charlie, is somewhere safe. Mike agrees to this request before finding out the seriousness of the situation, and just how much danger they are really in.

Who exactly was the man he saw murdered? And who is the man he saw pulling the trigger?

In a situation where nothing is what it seems, Mike will have to fight for his life to protect a woman and a child he doesn’t know. And when the death count rises, he will discover what kind of man he really is.

When you can’t identify the victim, how can you find the killer?

My Thoughts

This is the first book that I have read/ listened to by Tony J Forder after seeing the cover I have been dying to read it…..How awesome is this cover though?!

With it being the first book in the series we meet Mike Lynch a character who’s day just goes from bad to worse. When the story starts off with one hell of an opening that was it for me I was well and truly hooked.

The narrator does a brilliant job portraying Mike with his tone of voice has the story is told of Mike’s POV. That here we go again tone is just brilliant and really shows his moody side. But I wouldn’t be happy if I was Mike. You really can’t help but like him. He is so realistic and believable. It’s nice to meet a character that isn’t perfect.

The author takes us on a gripping action packed ride with this story and I love the fact that this story has got the gangster element to it. I do love my grit lit so this story was perfect.

Now I cant wait to read the next one in the series.
