I am super excited to share my review with you today on Blog Tour for Here to Stay by Mark Edwards
A beautiful home. A loving wife. And in-laws to die for.
Gemma Robinson comes into Elliot’s life like a whirlwind, and they marry and settle into his home. When she asks him if her parents can come to stay for a couple of weeks, he is keen to oblige – he just doesn’t quite know what he’s signing up for.
The Robinsons arrive with Gemma’s sister, Chloe, a mysterious young woman who refuses to speak or leave her room. Elliot starts to suspect that the Robinsons are hiding a dark secret. And then there are the scars on his wife’s body that she won’t talk about . . .
As Elliot’s in-laws become more comfortable in his home, encroaching on all aspects of his life, it becomes clear that they have no intention of moving out. To protect Gemma, and their marriage, Elliot delves into the Robinsons’ past. But is he prepared for the truth?
From the two million copy bestselling author comes a tale about the chilling consequences of welcoming strangers into your home.
OMG Mr Edwards where the hell did that from?! There I was thinking you was a really nice guy…Don’t be fooled by this because after reading this I am thinking what a truly twisted mind you have LOL
Being a fan of Mark’s I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy of this and always look forward to what is in store for us next. Each story we always get something different. Well I sure as hell wasn’t disappointed, for me this is Mark’s best book to date taking psychological thrillers to another level.
In this story we meet Eliot who is happy plodding along with life until he meets Gemma. They marry and move in together, then we meet the in laws and things take a turn! Do I need to say anymore, you really need to read this for yourself to find out what happens.
Mark is an incredible story teller taking the reader on a roller coaster ride feeling the emotions the characters feel. From start to finish this book is jam packed with twists and turns and OMG moments……..and that ending! I am just picking my jaw up off the floor.
I haven’t got any In-laws to say how well do you know them because I have never been married. But this book certainly shows us that we don’t really know a person! Here To Stay is a very addictive, pulse racing, entertaining read.Which I cannot recommend enough giving it all the stars.
