This lady sure knows how to write…Let me explain! I was over the moon when Carol moved over to the dark side with her crime novels I thought it was an excellant move. Now after reading What Happens In France and loving it might I had. I am left thinking WOW how talented is this author. Being able to write a story either genre is something pretty special in my eyes.
In this story we meet Bryony Masters who I have to say I adored. The author transports us to France after Bryony’s dad has a stroke and she see’s an opportunity to find her long lost sister, when TV show What Happens in France call out for new contestants.
Wowsers what an entertaining story I loved everything about it. Bryony is one hell of a determined character who you can relate to and cannot help but will along…all I wanted was for her to find her sister.
What Happened in France is beautifully written and I felt like the author took me right back to college trip in Paris with her descriptions. This is a fun, light hearted, entertaining read. Which will certainly make you LOL but at the same time gave me a few AWW moments. Yes the book touched me….It is an absolutely lovely story.
I am just gutted that I have finished now. If you are looking for an entertaining easy read then this is the book for you. Which I highly recommend giving it all the stars.
Thank you to Ellie Pilcher at Canelo publishing for a copy and for inviting me to take part on this tour.
